My name is Tim, but you can call me Pops and I love to fish and help others to learn the joys of fishin’.

For beginners, fishin’ is simple — it’s just you, a rod, and some bait.

But for enthusiasts, it’s more. It’s the thrill of the catch and the stories behind each one.

Fishin’ teaches patience, focus, and respect for nature.

It’s not just about catching fish; it’s about enjoying the journey.

Imagine the excitement of feeling that first tug on your line, the adrenaline rush as you reel in, and then that moment of triumph!

But it’s more than just excitement. Fishin’ offers peace, a chance to unwind, and connect with nature.

Whether you’re on a boat, by the river, or at the beach, every trip offers new experiences and memories.

So why wait? Grab a rod, find a spot, and let fishin’ hook you into the ultimate hobby! Cast your worries away and reel in the joy.

Now just fishin’ doesn’t require you to buy a bunch of equipment.

Just fishin’ doesn’t require that much.

But don’t worry about any of that right now, because I got you covered. I have everything you’ll need to learn about the joys of fishin’ (You do need a Missouri fishing license though, that is if you are between the ages of 16 and 65).

First let’s find out if you even like fishin’.

Let’s get started.  What would you like to learn?  Do you want to start with the basics?  Or are you ready for a challenge?  Or are you just looking for a buddy to go fishin’ on Saturday?

Here is my price list for all people that can at least hold a fishin’ pole: I can train no more than 3 people at a time.

If you’re ready to learn the basics, the first hour is only $50 and each additional hour is only $25.  Those prices are for up to 3 people.

If you’re just looking to sharpen the fishing skills you already have and would like a little challenge, the price is only $25 per hour.

If you just need a fishin’ buddy, shoot, I’ll just charge you $25 for the day or until we are done.  Bring all your own equipment and snacks and drinks and lets go.  P.S. If you bring your own boat for us to go out and fish on, I’ll waive the $25.

So, for right now, all I have available is my weekends, which is all day Saturday and Sunday afternoon (as I am still employed as a OTR Truck Driver).

So if you are ready and you know you dates and times you are available, you can email me @ fishinwithpops1962@gmail.com or give me a call @ 816-808-0999.
